It beats buying a new SSD just for this one game. The open world is seamless, so having to sit through only a couple of them when you start the game shouldn’t be too jarring. On the other hand, it’s not like there are a lot of loading screens in RDR2.
I don’t think I know anyone with an SSD with 150GB to spare. It makes no difference to people still sticking to regular HDDs (except if they’re on a metered connection), but SSD users are going to have a bit of trouble with this one. That’s pretty reassuring, but the 150GB of required space is not. If you don’t mind playing on lower graphical settings, you’re going to be able to run it even on a 5+ year old rig.
